A picture is worth a thousand words… but do you know where that picture started? With a single thought.
Changing the way you think can change everything.
For example, instead of thinking about having to take things out of your diet, try adding in something healthy.
Or, maybe the thought of a full workout routine is difficult for you to embrace. What about trying to first think about changing your posture to ease discomfort?
Instead of thinking you need to be in the gym for an hour a few days every week, try simply doing ten minutes of movement every day. Making this a consistent pattern can improve your fitness level. (And, you’d be surprised how much it’ll make you want to do more!)
What about stress reduction? If we could all meditate for thirty minutes a day, wouldn’t this world be a much calmer place? If that amount of daily time seems overwhelming, just simply try taking a few deep abdominal breaths and exhaling fully when you can. This, too, will help reduce the effects of stress and lower the levels of stress hormones in your bloodstream.
Think about starting something.
Thinking is the first stage to changing.
Think before you speak.
Think before you look to cross the street.
Think before doing.
Just think a thought.
Dreams are thoughts that turn into actions. And actions then turn into results.
Think well.
Be well.
Blessings,
Dr. Carol
Beautiful entry. Thank you.
…brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. Philippians 4:8
